I’ve been using eM client for several years and @. very pleased with it. One annoying thing that’s been occurring for as long as I’ve used is and error when eM Client attempts to upload to the contacts folder on GMail. Do you have any ideas about how I can fix this problem?
No, with IMAP the messages are stored on the server. You won’t be deleting them, just removing the account from eM Client. Once the account is removed, you can still login to the web interface for Gmail and see all your messages. If you also have messages that you have moved to Local Folders, those will not be on the server, but they will not be affected at all by removing the account from eM Client. If you are unsure, make a backup using Menu > Backup before removing the account.
Then when you add the account again it will sync the messages back to eM Client. More importantly it will also setup the contacts again, and hopefully that error will not reappear.
