The problem scenario is, I am using IMAP account and sending emails through:
Android Email client
eM client from Laptop
All emails sent through eM client are visible in IMAP Sent folder on Android Email client but Not in eM client, even I moved all Sent items from local sent folder of Android Email client to IMAP sent folder.
Hi, not completely sure if I understand, are you suggesting that if you send an email from eM Client it is not saved into the sent folder?
What mail service are you using with eM Client and what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check for the exact version number in Help > About?
Also check your default folders settings under Tools > Accounts > Your account > POP/IMAP.
Hello Paul, Thank you for replying to my question.
I experience, when email is sent from eM client on laptop it is stored on IMAP/Sent folder and in the same time when I access my email on Android I can see sent emails in IMAP/Sent folder.
The problem is, when I send/reply from Andoid, it is shown in IMAP/Sent folder in Android but not in eM client on laptop in IMAP/Sent folder.
I am using IMAP service of a registered domain. Version is 6.0.21040.0 (latest).
It seems there is some problem in eM client to synchronize properly with IMAP and/or IMAP/Sent folder.
Hi, I’m afraid this is not an eM client issue, as it is related to your Android email application.
Please check if you’re using the same sent folder on your phone as well as in your eM Client and check for any other folders named as “Sent” or “Sent messages” if by any chance your phone hasn’t created it’s own sent folder.
Also check on the server if you don’t have multiple sent folders.
