That looks like a computer geek question, but personally I would try uninstalling eM client and reinstalling a clean copy and try again, may work, maybe not, no harm in trying

Hi Saeys,
did you try uninstalling the program completely and installing again? If so, did you uninstall using the Windows Programs window? If no, try a reinstall using the MSI file of the version you were previously running.
If you need the files of any of the older releases I could provide the installation files.

Hi Saeys,
MSI file is the installation file you use in any version of Windows to install an application. If you run our MSI file again while eM Client is already installed, it will give you the option to repair or remove eM Client.
Try these older msi files (for installation and to remove eM Client again) :
version 6.0.23181> http://www.emclient.com/dist/v6.0.231…
version 6.0.23421 > http://www.emclient.com/dist/v6.0.234…
