Pressing Enter in the Accounts dialog has unanticipated action. Need Apply button?

When editing the account information (Tools> Accounts), if the enter key is pressed after making any changes, it is taken as the OK button being pressed. eMC then closes the Accounts dialog box. I see why it happens (tab should be used to jump from text field to the next text field) but I keep being surprised. I would advice eM Client to change this settings. If the user has several accounts and wants to make consistent changes to all accounts, pressing Enter to mean I’ve finished with the first account and now I’ll choose another account.

Maybe an ‘Apply’ button would remind me that I should press it if I haven’t finished making changes.

Hello,

If you need to edit more accounts then you do not need to push Enter or “OK” between accounts, eM Client remembers changes.

So you can push enter after all changes are made and thus you will okay and close this window.

We do not plan to make any changes to this behaviour.

Quite understand. This is not a beta version and the behaviour is embedded. However, it’s not a bad idea to incorporate an ‘Apply’ button. This could do the save of the changes so far.

Just my 2¢ worth.

Hello,

I am sorry, but we really do not plan to alter this. “OK” button here serves as “Apply and close” from same reason I have described before, if changes are preserved when switching your accounts then there is really no need to make “Enter” work as “Apply”
