powrprof

I routinely put my Windows 10  PC to sleep using a special keyboard key programed with “C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState Sleep”

On awaking from sleep an open dialog appears (filter .eml); this has only started to appear since installing eM Client. The dialog does not appear when the PC is put to sleep using the start menu.

Hello,

Can you please provide screenshot of this error message so we can take a better look at it?

Not an error message but eM Client trying to open an email?

Thank you for provided screenshot,
can you specify which key did you programmed and what tool did you use to do that?

Thank you for reporting this issue,
I will forward it to our developers and keep you updated regarding any solution or future fix.
Can you please clarify what version do you have installed?

Ver. 7.0.27943.0

Additional Information: The open dialog appears in response to a “programed key” on my keyboard. A key programmed with *C:* also produces the open dialog. Non-programed keys have no effect. Running the command “C:\Windows\System32\rundll.32.ex powrprof,SetSuspendState Sleep” from a Run dialog also has no effect other than to put the Pc to sleep.
