Can I convert a POP3 account to an IMAP account?
You first add your same email account as a separate IMAP account in eM Client via “Menu / Accounts” using either the “automatic account wizard” at the top, or manually via the “add account / mail / other” option depending on what your server supports. Then once added, drag / move all your POP messages and any custom message folders etc to your new IMAP account.
Then once you are certain all the POP messages and Message folders are showing in your IMAP account, then remove your old POP account.
Note: Before doing anything, backup eM Client via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete via clicking the dropdown arrow on the right of Refresh at the top left, & then click Show Operations
