"Password Required" pop-up box appearing constantly!

Although my yahoo email account sends and receives okay, I continually get a “Password Required” pop-up box appearing. It is getting very annoying having to click it each time to close it!  How do I stop it from appearing?

Hi Paul,

I tried this and it seemed to work for a while.  But today, the problem is still occurring and I have double-checked the settings you suggested in the link and they are as they should be as per your advice.  Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi again, one of the users suggested he had to change the carddav address to https://carddav.address.yahoo.com/ based on this advice on yahoo https://help.yahoo.com/kb/info-carddav-sln5740.html
Can you try this as well to see if it helps?
