Parsing the 'from' field

I want to create a rule that will move incomming mail to the junk folder if the “from” field contains a specific set of characters. The characters may be a partial set of the incomming email’s ‘from’ field. For example, if the senders name is “[email protected]”. I want to be able to filter for “admin@” or “@123.” or “

The rule does work if I include the entire domain (, but not if I try to filter on just a portion of the domain name. I also does not seem to work if I try to filter on just “admin@”
