We want to be full-featured, but not overengineered, which I believe the Bat a bit is (was). But we want to serve well even for a real power users.

You can create eg: permanent “Search folders” with whatever field data you want to display which then “show on the left side of eM Client” that might help you when searching for specific email content as per the Search for folder documentation below.

I was referring to the wide range of options that can used to locate a precise email. I was not suggesting incorporating all these option because many are obscure and confusing to use. However, the options are available should they ever be needed. The current design of the eM Client search function meets my needs. I was pointing these out what exists elsewhere, not criticizing. Besides, too many options can impair productivity.

Exploring eM Client’s capabilities is very straightforward. Explanations are virtually unnecessary as the app is very nicely laid out.
