Outlook.com IMAP problem - no sync

Hi togehter, I´m using the german version of eMClient since yesterday. First impression looks very fine.
I added my Outlook.com- Account. Calendar and tasks are sync fine. But IMAP doesn´t sync.
This is a copy of the protocol.

Does anyone know this issue and can help me?

I believe you need to setup Outlook as an eg: Exchange type account via the manual “Mail Exchange” option and not IMAP so everything in Outlook connects and synchs correctly. Try that option.

@PauleDerDritte, you may want to try temporarily disabling your anti-virus/firewall application or VPN and see if there is any difference.

@cyberzork, though I think that Exchange is more reliable, it should work just fine using IMAP, even though there are some differences depending which you choose:

Normally with Exchange there are more collaboration options, but I don’t know if Outlook.com offers those, so in this case there may not be any advantage.
Using Exchange you can’t select which services to use, so you get messaging plus contacts and calendars. Using the IMAP/AirSync setup you can choose between all these, or just messaging.
IMAP syncs with the server in real-time, whereas Exchange syncs every 60 seconds.

There are others, but for basic use I think that’s about it.

thx for your replies.
I tried both.
Exchange working fine with the E-Mails, but not with calendar and tasks.
Turning all firewall ect. off doesn´t work too. ;-(

Are there any other workarounds for my problem?
