Outlook account cant sync with eMClient. Error: Attempt to communicate failed.

Outlook account cant sync with eMClient.  Error: Attempt to communicate failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings.  I never changed the settings.  I deleted the account in eMCleint and readded.  I know my password is correct, but it won’t connect.  What has changed? or Why won’t it connect ? This is not a new account.  I’ve used this email account for about 3 years in eMClient.  I stopped working about a week ago.

No doubt due to Outlook.com changing to Exchange. You have to add the account again as an Exchange account. Check out this conversation: https://forum.emclient.com/emclient/t…

I did add the account again, still get the same error

do you use any security software that could be blocking the connection - Antivirus, Firewall? Try adding eM Client to its exceptions and see if that fixes the issue.
