When opening the Microsoft Store version of eM Client, the window doesn’t fill the screen. With the MSI version it was possible to set the shortcut to always open with a maximised window – ensuring it always fills the entire screen. With the Microsoft Store version, creating a shortcut to open maximised is not really viable.
On the Microsoft Store version, while it remembers the window size/position of the last manually sized window, it doesn’t remember when the window is maximised using the button in the top-right corner of the title bar.
Manually sizing the window is a pain, especially the top edge (due to Windows snapping) and the bottom edge (if using auto-hide taskbar). Also, users constantly manage to accidentally move the window position.
It would be helpful if the Microsoft Store/MSIX version of eM Client either:
A) Remembered when the application window has been set to fill the entire screen using the maximise button in the top-right corner of the title bar – so next time it’s launched it opens maximised again.
B) If for some reason MSIX makes Option A difficult, an option in settings to always open maximised – like in the Windows Terminal app settings (Launch Mode: Default/Maximised).
