One licence for two PC's not possible?

Hi,

I have a desktop PC, and a laptop - many people will have this arrangement - but when I go from one machine to the other and back, I have to fiddle with reactivating the licence.

Why is this? Do I need separate licence for every machine? I am a private person, not a business.

Could somebody explain this, please.

You can use a licence only on one computer:

If you use the free licence and if you have two email addresses, I suppose you could just get two licences, one for the PC and one for the laptop.

Strangely enough, it seems to be working at the moment, but if it starts making problems I will get another account as you say, with different address.

The Pro license is per computer, not per person. Yes, you could theoretically activate and deactivate to skirt the requirement.

The proper course of action is to buy another license.
