office 365 authentication problem

I am attempting to add my office 365 account and I’m receiving an authentication error.
I am absolutely certain that my credentials are correct. I can login online with them and they work perfectly in other mail clients such as outlook.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

Hi Michael,

Which version of eM client are you using?
If it’s v7.2.34711 or earlier , obtain the latest version (v7.2.34959) from the main page  https://emclient.com/  and install. Then try again.

The version I am using is 7.2.34974.0 for Mac.

I have reinstalled and the problem persists. I have also tried on another Mac and I have the same problem.

Mac version is 7.2.34959

Wonder if you can also get it from here - it says latest version
https://emclient.com/download-mac 

(For Windows that version is on the Home page and wonder if they did the same for Mac )

The first link to the application once installed, returns the same authentication prompt.
The second link to the application once installed, times out to the servers.
