All Windows 7 sounds now affected after upgrade to v7.2.37929.0. Most sounds delayed, not just eMClient mail arrivals.
Really don’t think the sound system on Windows would be affected by eM Client.
But one way to find out is to uninstall eM Client and see if there is any difference. As long as you choose not to delete the database directory during the uninstall, your data and settings will still be there when you install eM Client again.

Update of an Acronis product later in week seemed to solve problem. Not eMClient caused problem to begin with, apparently. Paul
