Nothing goes into Sent Folder

I have just set up eM client for the first time and all is good except I could not find the sent folder. I managed to create it in Local Folders, but nothing goes to it. This would be a deal breaker for me

Same issue here with Sent, and trash folders

You do not say the version of eMC but is the same for v8 & v9
so do the following in the Main window of eMC

Menu is Top Left.

1./Menu ->Settings ->General ->Select Show Favorite Folders ->Apply ->OK
2./ At top of Left panel be sure > to left of Favorites is shown as v
3./ Right click in left panel anywhere to right of Favorites ->Display
4./ From the pop out select the items you want to show
5./ That’s it!

Are they maybe in the More Folder.

If they are, right-click and choose Show and they will move back to their original place.

Can’t make rule wizard save new rule.

After message has been received
sent to people
and with words found in body or subject
move to Sent

[After message has been received]
and [sent to people] in the same rule makes no sense
and I can’t remove [After message has been received]

Now you say something different, you did not say anything about a rule!

You do not need a rule to move a message you have sent to the sent folder,
sent is what it means
You are correct what you have done makes no sense.
Simply delete the rule.
Highlight the rule and delete.

You don’t manually create sent folders in eM Client when adding any mail accounts.

Have you been able to find your real sent folder ?

If not, did you setup an IMAP, Exchange, iCloud or POP account ?

I fixed all the folders, now they are getting messages
