A couple of problems have surfaced for me with eM Client: At times, when I hit the download pictures, nothing happens. For some of emails, the option to download picutres isn’t there at all. Also, hitting a link in the email is extremely slow to open the link.
Hi Patrick, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check for the exact version number in Help > About?
What mail service are you using with eM Client? Are you seeing any errors from the application?
Hi Paul - version is 6.0.21040.0, and email is gmail. This is a fairly new problem. I haven’t noticed any problems with the gmail service.
Hi again Patrick, can you please make a screenshot of the issue? Is this regarding emails containing external content or attached pictures?
Can you install this update on your computer, and check if the issue persists, http://www.emclient.com/dist/v6.0.21273/setup.msi ?

Hi Patrick, sorry for my late reply, are you still experiencing this issue?
In case you do, can you please navigate to Tools > Settings > Advanced and turn on IMAP logging for the problematic account?
- Save the settings
- Restart the application
- Replicate the issue
After the issue reoccurs, please go back to the advanced settings window and click on “Send logs” and submit the logs to my email firstname.lastname@example.org with a reference link to this forum topic.
Also if you could export one of the messages that you’re unable to download content for and attach it to the log message as well.
