For no apparent reason, EmClient ceased retrieving mail from Gmail. It received mail as recently as Friday, but has abruptly stopped. The emails are visible at gmail.com, so I know there is email. Can someone help ??
Have you updated to the latest version of eM Client? Did you go through the Gmail authentication process after the update?
Due to change on Google’s side we had to change the way we authenticate to Google services. It is necessary to re-login in eM Client and approve the permissions.
I reconfigured it using the instructions in gmail using POP. I didn’t need imap functionality. Seems to be working now. I might recommend incorporating an error message into EMC for mail failures.
