No error but not receiving emails?

I logged onto my computer today after being away since December 22nd for the holidays and then when I loaded up emclient no emails were being received. I ran the diagnostics check for both accounts which are linked to emclient. The first was a green tick on both SMTP and POP3 the second needed a fix on SMTP then got the green tick. However despite this when I press send/receive no emails are being received.

There is no error message popping up or anything when I do send/receive, I just get no response or emails?

Hello Chris,
is your eM Client perhaps in Offline mode? Can you open the operations window by clicking the synchronization indicator in the lower left (the indicator will show as ‘Offline’ if eM Client is indeed in the offline mode).
What happens when you create a new message and attempt to send it?
