no emails coming in

I have had no emails today pop3 not functioning and cannot fix. HHHEEEELLLLPPPPP

One thing you can check is if the anti-virus or firewall application is blocking the connection. Disable them and try again.

If that is not it, then let us know who your email provider is, and someone can give you the correct settings.

OK, I found a previous comment of yours where you said you are with TalkTalk.

Go to Menu > Tools > Accounts. Then in the POP3 and SMTP tabs check you have the following:

If your email address still ends in @tiscali.co.uk , then use the following:
POP3
host: pop.tiscali.co.uk
port: 995
security policy: Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)
SMTP
host smtp.tiscali.co.uk
port: 587
security policy: Force usage of SSL/TLS

If your email address ends in @talktalk.net , then use the following:
POP3
host: mail.talktalk.net
port: 995
security policy: Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)
SMTP
host smtp.talktalk.net
port: 587
security policy: Force usage of SSL/TLS
