No connexion with the server

I am a regular user of em-client for several years. This morning after the automatic regular back up (every two weeks), I got the message that there is no connexion with the server.
It says: " An attempt to make connexion between … (my e-mail address) and the server has failed. This can be created by the temporarily unavailability of the server or by false settings"
I did not change any settings, so I don’t know what happened.
Is there a problem with the server and will it be solved soon ?

The “server” appears to be a reference to YOUR email host. A good place to start is to contact your host.
