Using Charter email, the account is all there and I can see that it is, and it can receive mail, yet when you click to start a new message, it just says “no account.” Over and over. I can see no way to change this.
are there any error messages when you try to send the email? Could you screenshot the ‘No account’ area?
I suspect you might not have a correctly setup outgoing (SMTP) server or it was not detected during the automatic setup.
Check it in Tools>Accounts section. If your charter account does not have a SMTP tab, you will need to setup your whole account manually.
Click New account and then choose Mail>Other instead of the automatic setup.
Your Incoming server should be IMAP.charter.net and outgoing SMTP.charter.net
