New mail notification disappears as soon as eM Client gets the focus

I’m using eM Client 7.0.27943.0.

When a new email arrives, the envelope icon appears in the tray.
However, as soon as I switch to eM Client - the envelope disappears - even if I haven’t viewed any unread email.

I’m not sure if you consider this a bug but it’s non-intuitive and different from how every other mail client I’ve used before behaves…

Hello Oz,
Icon notification symbolizes new received emails, if you open eM Client your emails will be still unread and icon changes back to normal.
What you have in mind is unread emails notifications which is not the purpose of the “envelope icon”.
