New mail 'From Account' behaviour

When creating a new message from the Contact List screen, is there a setting to
a) default the ‘From Account’ to the account of the address book?
b) default the ‘To’ to include all email addresses for the contact?

a. As far as I know the default from address will be the account to which the address book belongs. So if you have your gmail address book for rod@gmail.com, it will use that from address for sending to any contacts in that address book when right-click and choosing send message. If the address book is in Local Folders, so not associated with an email account, it will use the default account specified in your account settings (Menu > Tools > Accounts).

b. You cannot automatically include all the contact’s addresses, but you can select which address to use if there are more than one.
