I installed and set up emclient on my laptop with my gmail account and really like the application, but new emails don’t appear at all in by inbox if I read them on my phone first.  Does anyone know how to rectify this?

Hi Terry,

Check your settings in your Gmail account. In “Labels”  your inbox should be activated for IMAP.

check if the em client on your laptop is on work offline mood. you need to on mark it. from FIle.

Hello Terri,
is it possible that your gmail account is set as POP in your phone?
POP protocol downloads your message to your device and deletes it from the server.
IMAP would keep the messages synchronized between the server and all devices.
