new account with subdomain

Attempt to set up an account automatically to email address having subdomain like
[email protected]

eM Client says
“The correct settings could not be determined.”

Works for email without subdomain to same domain
[email protected]

Is there a solution for this issue?

Yes, you can setup the account manually. Go to Menu > Tools > Accounts and add a new account. Instead of using the Automatic Setup, choose Mail > Other.

You can find more on setting up accounts in the Help File (F1). 

So I take it that eM Client will not automatically   set up an account to email address having subdomain?

The manual method works OK!

Don’t know David. It may depend on what information the server autodiscover is providing.

Glad it worked out with the manual setup though.
