I upgraded the client and now when I try to send or receive with gmail I get the error Navigation to the webpage was canceled. When I click Refresh the page I get another error.
Hello David, sorry to see this but unfortunately I’m not quite sure if I know what you’re referring to, can you maybe make a screenshot of the error and submit it to us here on the forum for more information about the issue?
What version of eM client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About?
I finally found some ideas in the forum and was able to turn on the 3 TLS options and got the request for password to come through. It now seems to be working. If this was a new requirement for the product then it should have notified me during installation. Luckily I am able to email on my phone. It is really critical that this product be completely tested before release. All of us users are totally dependent on this product. I was within one day of throwing it out and doing back to outlook.

Start Internet Explorer and select Tools then Internet Options then Advanced.Scroll down and under the Security heading you need to select Use TLS1.0 and TLS1.1 and TLS 1.2
