my inbox on my desktop doesn’t display, calendar and contacts are fine but suddenly can’t view emails,—settings, genera, view local folders makes no difference

Maybe you can show your e-mail again if you right-click on a ‘header’ in the left navigation column?

You should then see a popup menu in which you can select which things to see.

Yes thank you, I actually figured this out. The challenge is that I had to right click on a very small sliver of a space above where it said “calendar” for it to work. I had hours prior tried to right click anywhere on on the header and it wouldn’t work.
