Must shut down and restart eM to get mail

eM client does not always retrieve all my emails.  Sometimes none are retrieved and other times only some of the emails are retrieved.  But they always show up when I shut down and restart eM.

I am using IMAP, eM v. 7.3 and my email provider is Spectrum (formally Time Warner Cable)

One thing you could try is to uninstall eM Client. Download the latest version from an reinstall.

I actually am running the latest version.  Thank you for your suggestion never the less.

Yes, but uninstall it anyway and see if that makes a difference. Sometimes reinstalling can solve some issues, even if you have installed from the lasted downloaded file. Also, it can solve problems if you have used the in-application update.
