If I mark 2 or more messages in the Junk folder and drag them into the inbox, only 1 message displays immediately… Sometimes I have to close and re-open eM Client before the other messages display.
Is this an expected behavior? (eM client is latest version in Windows 10).
If I mark 2 or more messages in the Junk folder and drag them into the inbox, only 1 message displays immediately.
If you have a IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud account, that could just be a eg: Mail server delay updating the changed folder, and so then delaying showing all the moved messages back to eM Client Inbox.
So try after you move them, click the “Refresh” button and wait a bit and see if they all show.
If clicking the Refresh button and waiting sometime still doesn’t show the moved messages in your Inbox “but the messages are showing moved ok online in Webmail”, then that’s probably a “local cache” issue that needs clearing.
To clear the local cache in eM Client, “right click” on the Inbox (or All Mail) if it’s a Gmail account, and then click “Properties” at the bottom. Then click the Repair tab at the top and click “Repair”.
Once the local cache is cleared your messages will be slower to reread till fully cached again.
Note: If you do clear the local Inbox cache, make a manual backup first via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via clicking the drop-down on the right of Refresh.
