At the moment there is only a mail widget available, will there be a calendar widget in the next version to be able to fully replace the calendar app delivered with android (Samsung)

Any idea how long it will take for the step?
I want to replace the original mail client delivered with Samsung Mobile Phone with em Client because the original client has one big failure: every half year or so all of my calendar appointments are doubled. I do not know why and what the reason for is. On my desktop in em Client (my backend mail server is grommunio via ews) the appointments are not doubled. Removing one of the two identical appointmants removes the twin also. Only removing the mail account and recreating helps.
Another question regarding the mobile client: How can I configure access to only the calendar items from a second email account? With the samsung mail client I can deselect mail, contacts and jobs so only the calendar of this account is vilible on my phone. I read on some posts in the fforum and in the documentation about shared calendar but did not find how to for this.
Big +1 for a calendar widget. currently the only alternative is OneCalendar, and having eM Client handle everything also on mobile will be wonderful
I suspect the calendar widget for Android will be a while off yet as eM Client desktop 11 would be priority atm from reading the threads. Also there is other existing features from the desktop that are still not all implemented yet in the mob app such as eg: account groups, jump to folder, keyboard shortcuts etc, so no doubt all those would be priority before the calendar widget.

That sounds like a server issue to me duplicating the calendar events in the Samsung cal app being it only happens every half year or so. I would suggest to contact your server technical support if you haven’t already to advise that is happening.

If you only want to add a calendar from an email account and not the email using the mobile app, press “Menu / Settings” Then under Accounts press “Add new account” and press “Manual setup” and choose your calendar & enter your details.
