missing database problem

I’ve been using the software for a few weeks now without problem. Turned on my computer today and it doesn’t work. It automatically runs database check which results in the error 'SQL logic error or missing database table mail_index.Mailtems. Then I get a pop-up with the following error… 

The following error has occurred:System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException (0x80004005): SQL logic error or missing database
no such table: contact_index.ContactItems

I’ve run a virus scan, malware scan and CCleaner - all fine.
I’ve run the database repair tool recommended here which just runs the database check with the same error I mentioned first. 

I haven’t made any changes on my computer and no one else uses it.

Totally at a loss, can anyone help? Thanks! 

Hi Emily, this unfortunately points to a database issue, some of the files may have got corrupted during the un-initialization of the application or during a computer crash or hard reset/shut down.

If the database repair tool available for download here: http://www.emclient.com/tools/dbrepairrebuildall.exe is unable to restore the database files, I’m afraid it is not possible to restore data from the database.

Please navigate to your local folder > App Data > Roaming and rename or remove the current eM Client database, next time you open the application a new database should be automatically created allowing you to re-setup your accounts.
