File backup done on old computer, no indication of the location of the file. Looked in appdata/roaming/emclient.
Help states backup and restore best way to migrate.

What format is the back file that you have created?
Is it a .ZIP or .XML?
There is a different process to restore for each.

@BJB If you have EM Client for Windows, Click “Menu / Settings / General / Backup” and you will see the “Target Directory” path for the default backup location. You can always change that if you choose.
Ps From memory the default backup location for Windows is C:\Users\Yourname\Documents\EMClient .
