Messages "read" and rules not working any more.

Everything has been working fine, but suddenly, all my messages appear as “read” before opening them (I have the ‘mark emails as read’ unchecked), and also, my rules are not working any more so I am getting tons of junk in my inbox.  Why did this happen and how can I fix it to work as before?

what version of eM Client are you currently running? Check the exact number from Help>About section.
What accout does the issue with read emails happen on? What mail protocol does it use?
