During normal work in the client, all my messages disappeared, in all folders (inbox, sent, trash, archive). I use work email, gmail, but also hotmail. I use the client for more than 5 email addresses and all the messages disappeared. They did not remain either in the mobile or in the web version of gmail, for example. I use version 9.2. It happened to me once before.

I would suggest to first change your password in your account, as sounds like eg: someone on another computer or another device has access to your mailbox and is manually deleting the messages as they wouldn’t normally just delete.
Now as your Gmail and Hotmail messages are both all gone in the client, i would dblcheck in your online mailbox trash folder to see if they are still there, which then if so can then be restored.
Now if nothing in the online Trash / Bin folder of either accounts to undo deletion, then I would contact Google & Microsoft technical support to see if they can restore your mailbox content.
I don’t think my email was hacked. I think it was a technical issue with the client, I just saw messages disappearing uncontrollably. Like when you press and hold the “delete” button.
