Messages cut off when being forwarded

When forwarding a long-ish HTML email newsletter to a friend, I find that the text itself is cut off before the original message ends. My friend, therefore, receives only a part of the newsletter. Is this a known issue and is there a fix? I currently have to go into my Gmail online account and send it from there.

Hi,

I have never encountered this. Can I ask for one or two of those emails with this issue saved as .eml (right click - save as) and sent to galis@emclient.com with this topic’s url in subject?

I will take look at this and respond to you over email.

with regards
Jan

I don’t have the actual emails any more as I trashed them on Gmail.

The next example I can show you will be on Monday.

Info for all users:

so far we were unable to find real cause of this problem, if anyone will experience this then please follow my official (first) post,

with regards
Jan

I also have the same issue…

then please follow my official answer

Jan

Have sent them again. Hopefully you will get them this time (see 4th post above).

yes, I can confirm that I have received them. This week I have little less work around beta version so I can finally solve all emails I still have left.

So I will try to get to you as fast as I can

This seems to be corrected now, John. Worked fine today for the first time. Many thanks.

For other users this seems to be solved by updating to this version http://www.emclient.com/dist/v5.0.190…

Jan

Hello in version 6 I can see the same issue in version 6.0.1969.
What kind of info do you need to try to fix it?

Hi Max,

Jan most likely needs your e-mail which is being cut off. Please save it in .EML format first before sending it to Jan.

Hi, what email service provider and what protocol do you use? Is this issue even on newest released version?

Jan

e-mail service - my domain e-mail service. I think it is postfix. (Not sure).
Protocol - IMAP. In the same conditions Thunderbird is working fine, but it’s interface is not as good as em-client’s interface.
version - 6.0.19690.0
I’ll test this bug with the newer version.

Is it working on newest version http://www.emclient.com/dist/v6.0.198… ?

Jan

I was having the same problem.  I noticed another emClient user using a similar signature to me but wasn’t having any problems.  I deleted my signature and copy and pasted theirs (making name changes etc) and then hey presto my forwarding problem was gone.  All recipients can now see forwarded conversation threads.
Must have been something to do with the coding in my signature.
