managing mail content

In thunderbird, I was able to specify how many messages were synced with the desktop client and even automatically delete messages from the gmail server older than 1 year (for example). Is this kind of feature available in em Client?

Currently it is only possible if your account is using POP protocol, but the upcoming version 5.0 will contain Archive function so you will be able to remove messages older than XX days even if using IMAP.

brilliant - I know you’ve probably had this question a thousand times but do you know when version 5 will be released?
