"MailClient.Storage.Application.ItemOperationException:Error in client/server conversion"

Hi,
I seem to receive the above error (viewed in ‘Log’) when eM CLient syncs. When I click on ‘Edit’ in the ‘Error’ log, it seems to want me to do something with several of my contacts’ details but I can’t see anything particularly wrong. Any ideas, please?
I’ll attach screenshots to this post.
Thanks.
Paul

Something you could try is to move the contacts it wants to edit to a local folder. This would remove the error until you could determine what it is in the contact that is the problem.

To move the contact, right-click and choose Move to folder. Then select Local Folders > Contacts, or create a new folder in Local folders for this purpose.

If you would like, you can email me ([email protected]) one of the offending contacts, and I could take a look. Right-click on the contact and choose Send contact.

Hi Gary,
Thanks for your reply.
Typical, it hasn’t done it once today but I’ll keep your suggestion if/when the next time the error comes up!
Regards,
Paul
