The computer has lost my email database.
I know that I had moved it to a different HDD but I cannot find it as I do not know what to look for.
What is the name of the email database?
PS I know that there are other posts along similar lines as several were suggested when I started making this post. However I could not find any way of accessing these suggested posts - double clicking ect produced no result.

You have not said so I presume you are using eMC v8
Go to: Menu ->Settings ->General ->Storage
This will give you the location of your Database
You can also:
Go to: Menu ->Settings ->General ->Backup
This will give you the location & number of your backup files
To restore a backup:
Go to: Menu ->File ->Restore ->Follow instructions

By default, the database is stored in C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming. It is a folder called eM Client.
If you moved that folder somewhere else, then search your computer for it, or for a unique file within that folder like widgets.dat. You may have to enable viewing hidden items in Windows Explorer to get there.
When you have found the folder, you can set the location in eM Client in Menu > Settings > Storage. Then restart eM Client.
