Lost Email Database.

Installed eM Client successfully
Set up a new account and linked to my Sky/Yahoo email account successfully
Downloaded copies of emails from the server without issues
Transferred the emails to local folders - all OK up to this point.

 eM Client crashed

Re-started  eM Client  but had to set up a new account again.

Now all the previously downloaded emails have vanished from local folders AND from the server. This is a major issue as there are hundreds of critical emails that now seem to be lost.

However, given that I downloaded emails on to my pc, surely there must be a way to locate them and get  eM Client to pick them back up again.

Any ideas?

I am a user.
Generally the data is stored at this location see if it is there.
C:\Users\Your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\emclient.

If you created a emclient backup one can use that to restore. If not I cannot provide any ideas

It is not normal that after a crash you need to setup the accounts again. Usually there is just a database check and all is back to normal.

Did you maybe change the database location before the crash?

What version of eM Client are you using?
