Lost all inbox folders when upgrading to EM7

EM Client provided a prompt to upgrade to 7.  I allowed this but found that all my inbox folders had disappeared.  I followed advice on the forum page to import from EM6 and how to browse to the correct location to restore.  My folders came back but were as they were in October 2016.  I have lost important data including holiday booking info, tax info, banking, investments and Insurance details since October 2016.  How do I get it back?

There is a difference between import and restore. If you imported version 6 through Menu > File > Import > eM Client 6, you should have had in version 7 exactly what was there before in version 6.

If you did a restore, it would have replaced what was in the database with what was in the backup file, presumably that was made in October 2016.
