loss of outlook A/c from eMclient I am using Vista

I have lost my outlook A/c from eM client, my other A/c is ok, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. If I do a restore will I lose my emails. It keeps saying A/c not known, I have no problem accessing from my ipad or iphone
