Log in problems

unable to log in to email. Have changed passwords but keep getting error that user or password is incorrect. Not sure what to use if user is wrong…Have pro license but cannot get it working

First thing you could try is to login to your email via a web interface provided by the email provider, assuming they have one. Most do. If that works, then you’ve verified that your credentials are correct.

If you can verify that your credentials are correct in this way, then I’d say check your IMAP and SMTP settings to make sure those are correct. In particular, check that either Use identify credentials is checked as in the image below, or - if Use these credentials is checked - that you’ve also updated the password here.

If Use identify credentials is checked, it just means use the same credentials found on the General tab. The SMTP tab has the same thing.
