My computer crashed & I had to a new computer. I have moved to old computers disk to the new computer via USB so I can access the files. Where are the received, & sent e-mails and attachments keep so I can copy them to the E M client program on the new computer? [email protected]
eM-Client seems to store all local Data and Config in SQLite-Database-Files in your Profile:
C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\eM Client
Perhaps this works :
install eM-Client, launch it once, don ́t configure anything and close it again.
Then put the whole Folder “eM Client” from your Backup into the location mentioned above, overwriting all data that might already be there (created by the previous, first launch of the freshly installed eM-Client).
now open eM-Client again.
perhaps it finds a accepts the new (old) Data-Files…

it’s just as Fritz above suggests - you can just copy your old database files and move them to your new DB location.
Default database location is C:\Users%windows user%\AppData\Roaming\eM Client
