Local Folders Need to be Enabled to View Imported Contacts

Why do Local Folders need to be enabled to view imported contacts??
I’m really a bit confused as to why one needs local folders.

Also, is there a setting to tell eM Client to delete emails from the server when they are retrieved into eM Client?

I found the setting for Leaving a copy on the server.
I just didn’t look far enought. It was in the Accounts settings.

Hi, you don’t have to show local folders in order to view imported contacts, you can import contacts into your current account as well.
