It would be nice to be able to set own API urls for the AI add-on. Especially with lifetime licenses, a pay as you go with either official APIs like openAI or local models would make sense.

There is a Sleekplan suggestion to eg: use your own API key for ChatGPT AI (OpenAI) which you can vote for below if that’s what you want.

The implementation is still in progress, but we plan to make it possible to input and use your own OpenAI API key for the AI features in eM Client (so hopefully for any OpenAI-compatible service).
We also plan to add more AI features in general (such as AI Summary).
which is great. But more votes (now 138) will for sure tell the dev team about the need. So, please vote if you need this, like me.
