I tried to activate a free account and “Problem has occured when contacting the licensing server” message appears. I’m using Windows 10. Any idea?
I see that another user had the same issue. It is possible that the server is off-line for some reason. Wait a while and try again.
no, It doesn’t seem to be the same error but thanks. I’ve been trying every day and still nothing. I think I’ll have to go back to thunderbird
Disable any anti-virus/proxy/vpn application and try again. The server is definitely responding so something must be blocking it on your end.
Also, if you are on a laptop, maybe try again when you are connected to a different network/Internet connection.
You could also try with a different license key.

It was the firewall, it was blocking licensing.emclient.com url
