I’ve bought eMail pro, but when I log into my eMail it tells me that my trial license has expired. This is a new computer, and I received eMail perfectly well on my old lap-top as well as on my main desk computer. Why (a) have I had to buy Pro and (b) why does it not allow me to use this computer to access my eMails?
That means you have not yet activated your Pro license. Go to Menu > Help > License and click on Activate, then paste in your license key.
Hi,
What happens if on the menu Help it doesn’t appear the “Licence” option?
Thanks a lot.
One of two reasons:
-
You are using a beta version of eM Client. If you go to Menu > Help > About, and it says you have a 10.0.x version, it is a beta. Beta versions don’t use licenses. You can continue to test the beta version until it expires, and then install a new beta and continue your testing, or downgrade back to the official version 9 release where you can use your license.
-
You are using the MS Store version of eM Client. If you go to Menu > Help, you will see an option Buy Pro version subscription. MS Store visions don’t use our licenses, but instead use a monthly subscription you pay through the MS Store. If you have a license from us, uninstall the MS Store version and download eM Client from our website instead, and install that.
Wonderful,
Thanks for your help, it tourned out to be the 1st reason.
Regards!
