License deletion

Good evening,
I have a lifetime license, and it disconnects once or twice a month.
I reset the license code, and everything works.
Why is this happening?

eM Client needs to periodically contact the license server to validate your license. So could be the client is not allways able to reach the URLs.

If they don’t all open, that can be sometimes due to eg: optionally installed firewall security programs or optionally installed antivirus programs or VPNs. So if you carn’t open all those links and have any optional programs like that installed “other than what comes default with your OS”, then try completely disabling those to test.

Now “if you can open all those links ok”, then I would next try uninstalling and reinstalling eM Client as could be the program possibly didn’t install initially correctly and might be eg: “partially corrupted”. If you have Windows “don’t delete the database” when asked on the uninstall wizard. You can get all the latest versions to reinstall from the release history page.

Note: If you do uninstall and reinstall eM Client, make a backup first via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via clicking the drop-down on the right of Refresh.

Lastly if uninstalling and reinstalling makes no difference to the problem, then if you have a current active paid Pro or Personal version go to the VIP support page and login and lodge a support ticket. They can then help with that.
