Hello
i have emclient installed on my Laptop and activated with a free licence. Then i installed emclient on my pc an activated it with the same freelicence.
So only one program is running now. I found no way to get an other free licence for my PC. I tried to reinstall, but it didn ́t delete my Data. So it asked for the freelicence key of my laptop.

How can i get a second Licence?

Use a different email address

Hi Jürgen,
FREE licenses are limited to one per email address. So either get a PRO license or register another license under different email.
To remove the previous license from the other device, go to Help>License and deactivate your active license.

Thanks a lot for your fast answer. This Information helps me to handle emclient.
Using outlook meant for me having more problems to solve than having fun by using. So i looked for an alternative software. I found emclient and all works so very fine that i want to test it for a while and get a PRO licence.
There is an other mailclient -Mailbird, that is very fine too, but the contacts in emclient are more usefull for me. I only miss to create own contactfields like in microsoft buisiness contact manager.
The possibility to integrate whatsapp, evernote, dropbox (i miss doodle) in Mailbird are features i wish for emclient. In my oppinion emclient could be a “killer-app” with this features.

had the same Problem.
You have to get a new licence from here
http://www.emclient.com/free-license?lang=en

After starting emclient deny all options to repair. Under help/licence yo can put in the new licene.

Hi Olivia,

thanks a lot for your information. I’ll test eM Client now and If it performs well, I’ll upgrade to a pro licence. For now, it looks very good, better than thunderbird, which I used so far.
Two Questions:
Interaction with skype is only possible in pro version?
I use a laptop and a home pc. Can I use one pro version  on both machines? Or will I  need two?
For testing, I have two free licences, as mentioned above.

Hi Chris,
I’m glad you like eM Client so far.
Unfortunately, Skype interaction is no longer an available service, because Skype ended its support for third party applications.

As for your second question, you will need 2 licenses. The policy is the same for both PRO and FREE, one license per device. If you look at our price calculator on our website though, you will see that the price per Unit gets much cheaper with each additional license, starting at the second one already: http://www.emclient.com/purchase

I liked the eM Client, but when the license is following the computer rather than me as the actual buyer, there will not be any purcase.

Hello Olivia,
I live exactly this same issue. I’ve tried deactivating the licence on my ‘other’ computer (That I will no longer use) to enter my licence number associated with my email address in my new computer but it doesn’t work…Why?
